The turtle with the capybara is a Spurred Tortoise hatchling!!
I'm a 32 year old boy!
They seem to be very close friends.

The African Spurred Tortoise is the third largest turtle in the world and lives in Africa!
Hatch, who we have in our store, weighs about 40kg, and the way he walks slowly is quite impressive!

By the way, do you know the origin of the name "Kedume" in "Kedumerigame"?
It is said that this is because they have spurs between their hind legs and tail!
It is said that during breeding season, males use it as a weapon when fighting each other!

The African spurred tortoise is also active in the morning and evening!
In the store, there are cool areas and areas that are warmed by heaters, but in the wild, they spend the hot days and cold nights digging holes in the ground to spend the time!

At our store, you can feed Hatch the African spurred tortoise treats and even stroke his shell!

When you give him a treat, he will come right up to you.
Please give it a try!!
We look forward to your visit!
