The world of miniature models is loved by people of all ages!
A diorama of a rural wooden train station is a popular theme because it can recreate the nostalgia of the Showa era and the laid-back atmosphere of local train lines.
In this workshop, we will use the TOMIX wooden station building set, a familiar name in the world of model railways, to create a "railway diorama" that depicts a scene suitable for a local landscape!
Let's create a charming "railway diorama with a wooden station building" by scattering ballast and colored powder around the tracks, and adding small details such as plants, railway structures (signs, fences, etc.), and people waiting for trains, showcasing the texture of wood etched over many years and blending seamlessly with the surrounding nature!
The artwork will be approximately 18cm wide, 14cm deep, and 6cm high.
(Please note: This item does not come with an acrylic case!!)

We're looking for participants from all walks of life, including railway enthusiasts (those who enjoy riding trains or taking photos of them), railway model enthusiasts, those who love rural or urban landscapes, and anyone who appreciates nostalgic scenery, memorable landscapes, or Showa-era retro style!
Beginners, female diorama enthusiasts, and adults are all welcome!!

Course fee: 1,760 yen (tax included)
Material fee: 5,000 yen (tax included) *Please pay the instructor in cash on the day of the class.
What to bring: ① Watercolor brushes (about two with fine tips)
② Newspaper (about two sheets the size of a double-page spread)
③ A bag or box to take the artwork home in
Capacity: 5 people
Target age: 4 years old to adult (children up to 3rd grade of elementary school must be accompanied by one adult)
*Please refrain from bringing siblings or other accompanying persons into the classroom during the lesson.

*Please note that for cancellations made after the application deadline, you will be required to return the materials and pay the full cost of the materials.
