SHONAN TREE HOUSE EVENT REPORT
[Also held in September♪] Limited to Mitsui Shopping Park Point Members &
Take-home Shops gift exclusively for Kids Club members
September is the month when the lingering heat of summer gives way to signs of autumn.
We are pleased to introduce the September edition of the extremely popular monthly take-home Shops exclusively for "Mitsui Shopping Park Point Members" and "Kids Club Members"!
This time, in addition to the first and third Sundays, it was held two more times over a three-day weekend, for a total of four times!
At Kids club, there was a chance to make flower brooches using tsumami zaiku, and during the three-day holiday there was a kit for making wonderful items that would add a touch of style and relaxation to your room! There was a lot of great content that both adults and children could enjoy ♪
Now, let's take a look at the venue!
As in August, we continue to take strict measures to prevent coronavirus infection!
・Ensuring space between customers
・Temperature check & disinfection
・Full face shield and gloves
・Alcohol disinfection at the venue
We are always very grateful for your cooperation.
9/5 (Sun) "Tsumami-zaiku Brooch Making" / Kids Club Members Only
☆Kit contents: Instructions (x2), Fabric (x1), Tsumami-zaiku plate (x1), Beads (x1), Brooch pin (x1)
*Things to prepare: sewing needle (for needlework), thread (any color is OK! White is recommended as it is easy to see), glue (fabric or strong glue is recommended)
This is a kit for making brooches using the cute Japanese-style flower motif.
Please choose your favorite color from three fabric colors: red, pink, and yellow!
This is authentic tsumami craftwork that requires needles and thread, so some people may find it a little difficult...
Please enjoy wearing the completed brooch and enjoying fashion!
9/18 (Sat) "Paper Pen Holder" / Limited to Mitsui Shopping Park Point Members
☆Kit contents: Instructions (x1), Paper sticks (x11), Base paper (x1), Cellophane tape (x1), Instant glue (x1)
This is a pen holder that you can make by folding rolled paper to fit the base paper and using instant glue or cellophane tape.
You can change the color combination and shape to your liking, so you can make a one-of-a-kind pen holder♪
9/19 (Sun) "Susukino Swag Making" / Limited to Mitsui Shopping Park Point Members
☆Kit contents: Instructions (x1), Japanese LIFE flowers (x3-5 stalks), hemp string for bundling (x1), ribbon for decoration (x1)
*Things to prepare: scissors, newspaper
You can create an autumn-themed swag by layering LIFE on top of fluffy Japanese pampas grass.
Since the spikes of silvergrass are soft and fall off easily, we recommend displaying them in your entranceway!
If you use a hardening spray for LIFE they will last longer and won't crumble.
9/20 (Mon) "Make something with your grandparents! Make something with a matching set" / Limited to Mitsui Shopping Park Point members
☆Kit contents: Flower material set, candle base (x1), mold (x1), paraffin wax (x200g), micro wax (x10g)
*Things to prepare: disposable chopsticks, scissors, induction heater or gas stove, pot or beaker (enamel pot for induction heater, pot or beaker for hot water for gas stove), thermometer (electronic type, regular thermometer is also acceptable), oil (salad oil, etc.), tissue, newspaper
A set of the popular herbarium and aroma candle!
You can make a matching herbarium and aroma candle using white-based, pale LIFE.
The event attracted a lot of attention, with a set that allowed parents to enjoy making things together with their grandparents!
We had a lot of visitors in September, and thanks to you, it was a great success!
"This is the first time I've been able to get it!"
"We build and play together, and before I knew it, my child was able to do things he thought he couldn't do, and it made me happy to see him grow!"
There are many happy voices such as:
All the staff were very energetic.
Finally, we will introduce some wonderful creations by people who have actually tried making them!
Apparently, the daughter made the tsumami zaiku by herself in about an hour, but I was amazed at how carefully and beautifully it turned out!
The eco-bags were also stylishly arranged, and I couldn't help but say hello to them♪
What was even more surprising was that her daughter came up with the designs for all of these arrangements and only helped her with putting them together!
I didn't notice it at first because the design is something that wouldn't look out of place in a store in LaLaport.
As the seasons change, it's easy to get fatigued due to the temperature difference, but why not take your time and enjoy some crafts at home to change your mood?
We look forward to seeing you again!
