SHONAN TREE HOUSE EVENT REPORT

SHONAN TREE HOUSE EVENT REPORT

12/14 (Sat) Mama's Christmas Festival! ~Make your own with Kids ~

A delicious and fun Christmas Shops festival was held, brought to you by the Hiratsuka citizens' group "Mama Gyutto"!
There are lots of great Shops for moms and Kids to enjoy!

Make ornaments perfect for Christmas and aromatic creams that are perfect for this season.
There were eight booths gathering, offering delicious mini tarts, bread making, miso ball making and more.

At the Craft Studio B☆ booth, visitors were able to make Christmas cards using scrapbooking and ornaments using large pine cones.

We used glue guns to make the pine cone ornaments, so for safety reasons we asked parents to make them while their children worked hard to make cute Christmas cards.

Since there will be two instructors each teaching, mothers can relax and concentrate on their craft.

Making Flora Fran's flower aroma cream, which was very popular with the girls.

Find a scent you like and add LIFE or preserved flowers to the scented cream to create a gorgeous look!
You can stick as many glittery stickers as you like on the case!

Chalk art can be enjoyed by anyone, from children to adults. This time, we drew a gingerbread man cookie.
Our instructor will be Mr. Shiota from the free creative atelier "Yattemire."

You will learn how to color three-dimensional objects using pastel chalk on a sketch drawn by the instructor.
You can use any color you like from the colorful chalk to draw your own gingerbread man cookie.

The completed art can be displayed as an ornament and enjoyed.

Next, let me introduce you to the kitchen area.

The first one is making mini tarts with Sarry.
Place the cream on the tart dough prepared by Sarry and then top with your favorite toppings.
Even small children with weak grip strength can rest assured because Sarry will help them squeeze the cream!

You can eat the finished tart right away or take it home!

The second is a home baking class where you can experience making snowman bread, perfect for the winter season!
This time we had the pleasure of having lino sensei, the home bread master.

The bread dough used was prepared by the instructor. Everyone kneaded the dough and shaped it into a snowman shape!

Once the shaping is complete, you can have it toasted right there.

The third kitchen area is where C`C-HOUSE makes miso balls using miso from Hiratsuka.

You can choose from two flavors: red miso and white miso.
Mix the miso you have chosen with the other three ingredients, wrap it in plastic wrap, and it's done!

Just pour in hot water and you can easily make and drink a single serving of miso soup!

For those worried about their children's likes and dislikes, we also provided free nutritional consultations.

Finally, there is a newspaper play corner that you can participate in for free!

They enjoyed making animals out of newspapers, making toys, and other crafts.
The photo was created with camping in mind. I was amazed at how high the quality is!

At the back of the corner, you could participate in making an eco-map for free!
Think about the people you would like to have around you and create a map that will make parenting easier.
The students listened attentively to the lecturer, Tsutsumi Sonoko, as she spoke about child-rearing.

It was bustling from morning to evening, creating a wonderful space where parents and children could share fun times together!

Shiota sensei's chalk art, which gave the space a festive Christmas atmosphere, was photographed by many people! It was so cute!

Let's make lots of fun memories together as parents and children in 2020!
