SHONAN TREE HOUSE EVENT REPORT

SHONAN TREE HOUSE EVENT REPORT

7/7 (Sun) [Let's make sparklers with Japanese fire makers!] Event report

To help create memories for Tanabata, SHONAN TREE HOUSE held a Shops on making sparklers!
Stylish sparklers in slightly unusual pastel colors.
Here's a little glimpse into the venue!

The lecturer was Mr. Gen Sasaki from Maruya.
Maruya's sparklers are made from natural ingredients and emit the natural reddish-brown light of charcoal fire, providing healing and relaxation.
As a "communication platform" that connects people with each other, and people with nature, it helps to convey gratitude, prayers, and a variety of other feelings.

First, you will learn how to make sparklers by looking at the images on the monitor.
He explained things slowly and carefully so that it was easy to understand.
The images can be enlarged, making it easy to see even the finer details.

Here are the materials. Each person can make three sparklers.
You can choose three pieces of colored paper of your choice from four colors: pastel blue, pink, YELLO, and purple.
The bag is also stylish, so I'm looking forward to seeing the finished product!

First, apply a glue stick to a long, thin bamboo skewer and wrap colored paper around it.
Some people said that it seemed easy but was surprisingly difficult, but the children followed their mothers' example and tried their best to spin around♪

Remove the bamboo skewer, twist the handle end, and place gunpowder in it.
Twist it further to prevent the gunpowder from spilling.
Make all three in the same way, put them in a bag, and you're done!

What a lovely smile!
I'm sure you all had a special experience and made some special memories on this special day, Tanabata.
Have fun with your homemade sparklers with the whole family!
