SHONAN TREE HOUSE EVENT REPORT

SHONAN TREE HOUSE EVENT REPORT

5/5 (Sun)【Luise Ono Coloring Shops】Event Report

We held a coloring Shops with Louise Ono, an artist and painter from Hiratsuka!
You can actually color the sketches by Luise Ono for free! They come in the form of postcards, so they're very practical♪
We would like to introduce some of the scenery from the event and the works that were exhibited.

First, choose your favorite postcard from four different types.
As long as you stayed within the time limit you were allowed to colour in all kinds of designs, so many people tried their hand at colouring different designs!

Next, you will watch a demonstration by Luise Ono and learn about the differences in impressions that come from different art materials and techniques.
There were techniques that even adults didn't know about, which broadened the scope of colouring and made it look like a lot of fun!

Art materials include watercolor pencils, crayons, and colored pens, so you can color freely using your favorite art materials.
Many of the participants were using watercolor pencils for the first time, and the event was very popular with those who wanted to create beautiful gradations!

Even young children seem to be fascinated by their first experience with watercolor painting.
My sisters and I participated together.

Many people came to experience coloring with their families, and it seemed like people of all ages, from adults to children, enjoyed the event!
I thought I was just joining in with my kids, but before I knew it, I saw moms and dads, grandparents, and everyone else concentrating on coloring and enjoying themselves.

The children posed cutely with their completed drawings.
Even the children who were using watercolor pencils for the first time and were not used to it still produced beautiful results!

The event was a great success with many people participating!
You can also see Luise Ono's mural on the north exit bus rotary side of LaLaport SHONAN HIRATSUKA!
I hope you enjoy taking photos with the murals in the background.

Thank you to everyone who contributed to this report!
