As the days get warmer, we can feel spring approaching.
At the Treehouse, we held a mini flower arranging experience using lots of spring flowers!

This time, we had flower education volunteers and flower evangelists as lecturers.
Flower Evangelists was founded in 2009 and is an organization that works to spread the appeal and enjoyment of flowers, mainly in Hiratsuka City.

This is a piece displayed as a sample!
The red colour is reminiscent of Valentine's Day and makes for a lovely piece.
All of the flowers used are grown in Hiratsuka City and are available at a wide range of florists!

First, choose the color of the flowers!
The flowers available this time are seven types: gerbera, sweet pea, spray carnation, baby's breath, leather fan, ruscus, and temari grass.
All the colors are so lovely, it's hard to choose!

Once you've finished selecting your flowers, your instructor will give you a brief explanation about the flowers and some advice on how to arrange them.
We heard exclamations of amazement at the knowledge about flowers that people had never heard of!

Once you have received the instructions, the arrangement can begin!
The instructors also give you good advice during the practical part.

First, insert the main flower in the center.
Some people insert it without hesitation, while others insert it slowly and carefully.
Everyone seemed to be having fun thinking about it.

Try shortening the length of the flowers as much as possible, or experimenting with the direction of the flowers or the angle at which they are inserted.
The fun thing about flower arranging is that it can look different depending on how it is done.

Once you've finished inserting the flowers, choose your Oasis wrapping paper and ribbon, wrap them up and you're done!
This time, the instructors prepared some special Valentine's Day heart decorations for us.

Everyone has created some wonderful works!
It's so gorgeous that you can almost smell the flowers in the photo!

It was a wonderful event where we could experience spring early!
