SHONAN TREE HOUSE EVENT REPORT
9/29 (Sat) Sparkling stained glass art experience
Paint made from recycled cars, eco-art that is kind to the earth.
We held an event where you could experience stained glass style dimple art!
We will introduce you to the event and the wonderful artworks that you created.
The instructor is an art therapist and artwork instructor who is active mainly in Kanagawa.
Professor Harada Nozomi visited us.
First, please choose your preferred sketch and base.
The base comes in two types: a clear case that can be used to store small items, and a cute photo frame type that can be used as interior decoration.
All the sketches are so cute, it's hard to choose!
Professor Harada will teach us how to use paints and dimple art in an easy-to-understand way.
Dimple means "ripple" or "dimple" in English, and is an eco-friendly paint that was developed through research into recycling polyvinyl butyral (PVB), a synthetic resin used in car windshields to prevent glass from shattering!
The paint caps have pins inside, so I had to be careful about how I held them and closed the caps.
Everyone followed the teacher's instructions and used it safely.
Next, the coloring begins!
Feel free to colour it in any colour you like.
Some people mix colors to create a gradation.
Even if you accidentally draw something outside the outline of the sketch, you can easily erase it with a cotton swab.
Once the coloring is done...
Your beautiful dimple art is now complete!
Everyone had a great sense of color, and when the light shone through it it looked like sparkling stained glass, which was fantastic!
It was a wonderful, eco-friendly event where waste materials were recycled and transformed into beautiful works of art!
