Painting Ouchi dolls to bring happiness and good fortune

You can paint on mini keychains of "Ouchi Dolls," a traditional craft from Yamaguchi City in the neighboring prefecture of Yamaguchi, using lacquer.
Learn from Mai Tsumura, a young Ouchi lacquerware craftsman, and paint the body pattern and face to your liking.
You choose either a male doll (black) or a female doll (red) and paint the face and body of the doll. Later, it will be delivered to your home as a keychain with a bell attached.
*Because lacquer is used, young children under elementary school age are not allowed to participate.

◇Date and time: Saturday, July 4, 2026
① 11:00-13:00, ② 14:00-16:00 (approximately 90 minutes)
*Production time may vary depending on the individual.
The session will end once it is completed within the time frame mentioned above.
◇Price: 3500 yen/1 item (including shipping for the finished product)
◇Target audience: Elementary school students to adults
*Elementary school students must be accompanied by a guardian.
◇Capacity: Approximately 8 groups per session

This Shops will use lacquer.
It may cause a rash depending on your skin type.
We will be wearing gloves while working, and we appreciate your understanding in advance.
Please bring your glasses if you need them, as the work involves close-ups.
