Hello! We are Form-i, a store specializing in clothing and bag repairs.

One of the things we do to hem denim is the chain stitch finish.
This is a stitching method that creates a chain stitch on the reverse side, and when washed, the thread shrinks and the seams become tight, and due to the difference in shrinkage with the fabric, a twist called puckering occurs.

The puckering caused by washing has bumps and grooves. The bumps are easily rubbed, so white areas called "Atari" appear, but these creases give jeans a unique texture that only comes from wearing them. Recommended for those who enjoy the changes that occur as they wear.

When hemming your pants, please ask the staff to finish them with a chain stitch. (※Same-day hemming is not possible.)

In addition, we can also use a chain stitch finish when you want to leave the hem texture (unworn hem/distressed hem). Please feel free to ask our staff.

We not only repair your own clothes, but also repair clothes purchased from other shopping malls or online.
[※Please note] If you have worn any clothing, please wash it before bringing it in for alterations. Thank you in advance.

We look forward to your visit.
