Itoshima City, Fukuoka Prefecture, is just under an hour's drive from downtown Fukuoka, making it a great place for a weekend drive. In Itoshima, you can experience the rich natural scenery that changes with the seasons. Itoshima Isomoto Farm was established in 2011 in the middle of the rice fields of Itoshima City.
Wanting to sell the strawberries he grew himself, he opened the Isomoto Farm Direct Sales Store in March 2014. Strawberry picking began in January 2017, and he enjoys working in the fields every day, encouraged by the words of visitors such as "This is a great place" and "The strawberries are delicious!"
Even during the off-season, we want to transform the Amaou strawberries harvested from these farms into various forms and deliver them directly to as many people as possible!
It was with this in mind that "Ichigoya Cafe TANNAL" was started in May 2017 as a strawberry cafe run by a strawberry shop and for strawberry lovers.
Of course, we have many happy customers who visit us during Amaou season, but even in seasons when there is no Amaou harvest, we offer a variety of delicious treats, such as shaved ice and ice cream made with frozen Amaou strawberries, homemade compote, and syrup, as well as baked goods such as scones and butter sandwiches made with Amaou yeast and freeze-dried Amaou strawberries, which are all enjoyed by many customers.
This time, the stall will only be open for a short period of about one and a half months, but please enjoy the strawberry sweets that bring out the best in strawberries, which can only be made by strawberry farmers who know everything about strawberries.
