"CAMPER" means "farmer" in the language of Mallorca, Spain. Since its founding in 1975, the company has continued to create original shoes that utilize the creativity it has learned from the Mediterranean nature.
Through its shoes, the brand continues to surprise the world with its playful designs, exquisite comfort, and its commitment to being one of the earliest brands to use environmentally friendly materials.
Starting in 2021, Achilles Ion Gabriel, who is highly regarded for his stylish and unique designs, has been appointed creative director, and the brand is now expanding its evolved lineup to 400 stores in approximately 40 countries around the world, mainly in Europe.

The newly opened CAMPER Fukuoka LaLaport is a new concept Shops based on the theme of "sustainability," one of CAMPER 's defining features.
The store's walls are made up of tunnel-shaped tubes made from recycled paper, and the fixtures are made from OSB material, a type of wooden board made by compressing thin pieces of wood and thinnings that would normally be discarded, making it a very environmentally friendly structure.
The store is decorated with olive trees, a symbol of the Mediterranean, allowing you to enjoy shopping while feeling as if you are on a Mediterranean vacation.
