Introducing SDGs initiatives
H&M is working on various initiatives to make more sustainable fashion available to everyone. All stores offer a used clothing collection Services, where unwanted clothing is collected regardless of brand or condition, and customers are given a 500 yen discount coupon and points (20 points) for each bag brought in (*To receive and use the benefits, you must download the official H&M app and register as a member).
With the aim of reducing clothing waste and reusing it as a resource, collected clothing is sorted into either reuse, recycling, or energy, and nothing is simply thrown away. We also collect home textiles such as socks with holes, worn-out towels, sheets, and curtains, so please bring any items you no longer need to our stores.
In addition, 85% of the materials used by H&M Group are now recycled or sourced more sustainably. Products that use more than 50% of these materials are marked with a green tag, so please make use of it when shopping.
