Our Commitment
Cocoa beans are produced within 20 degrees latitude north and south of the equator. The main producing areas are Africa and South America, but in recent years production has also been increasing in Southeast Asian countries such as Malaysia and Indonesia. GODIVA chocolate is made by carefully selecting only the finest cocoa beans from each producing area, and creating its unique flavor with the highest technology and meticulous care.
Chef Profile
Yannick Chevallois
Born in Rodez, a city in the south of France.
Studied confectionery, chocolate and ice cream techniques at CFA.
After that, for over 15 years, he worked as a pastry chef and chocolatier in one, two and three star high-end restaurants and hotels in Europe, including PLAZA in Paris, Plaza Athénée at the Negresco, and Nobu in London. After that, he came to Japan and gained experience for eight years at The Georgian Club and Chez Inno, where he learned about the delicate tastes of Japanese people while conveying the traditions and techniques of French pastries.
