Kinshicho North Side Ophthalmology

Is it really true that "it's okay because I can see it"?

Hello, this is Kinshicho North Side Ophthalmology.
"I'm not particularly having any problems, so I'm just continuing to use my glasses or contact lenses." You might be surprised how many people feel this way.
Even if you have your eyesight checked during a health checkup or driver's license renewal, the tests mainly focus on your ability to see things far away. On the other hand, modern people's eyes are under different strain than before because they spend more time looking at things up close, such as smartphones and computers.
Furthermore, even if you think you can see clearly, you may have hidden farsightedness or overcorrection, and you may be straining your eyes without realizing it. As a result, this can lead to eye strain, such as heavy eyes or difficulty focusing in the evening.
In recent years, methods to support vision, including bifocal contact lenses, have also evolved.
What's important isn't waiting until you lose your sight, but checking whether your current vision is truly right for you. For a more comfortable everyday life, why not take some time to re-evaluate your eyesight and how you see things?
