What are the SDGs?
The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are international goals for 2016 to 2030 set out in the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, which was adopted at the United Nations Summit in September 2015 as a successor to the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) formulated in 2001. They consist of 17 goals and 169 targets to realize a sustainable world, and pledge to leave no one behind on the planet. The SDGs are universal goals that not only developing countries but also developed countries themselves should work on, and Japan is also actively working on them.

Introducing the initiatives of each store
We would like to introduce the initiatives being undertaken at each store in Mitsui Shopping Park Urban and RAYARD.

Initiatives by facility
- MIYASHITA PARK
- We have adopted "Smago" trash cans in the common areas of the building.
The system stores electricity using solar power generation, automatically compresses the accumulated garbage, and automatically notifies the person in charge to collect it when it is full.
This is an environmentally friendly trash can that makes trash collection smarter and even reduces the energy used for collection.
We have installed a new automatic hand washing machine called "Wosh" in two locations throughout the building (it can also wash smartphones). The machine uses an "autonomous decentralized water circulation system" that uses domestic wastewater to recycle over 98% of the water on-site and reuse it over and over again.
- Akasaka Biz Tower SHOPS & DINING
- Akasaka Biz Tower will also participate in an event held at Akasaka Sacas in conjunction with the SDGs campaign "Make the Earth Smile WEEK" that TBS will be conducting in the spring and autumn with the theme "ACTION! For the Children of the Future" (details will be announced on the facility's website as soon as they are decided).
