NIFREL transcends the genre boundaries of aquariums, zoos, and museums, and is cleverly designed so visitors can intuitively enjoy the fascination of living things and nature as they might appreciate art.

[ Concept: "Stimulating Sensitivity" ]

The diverse forms of life and individuality nurtured by the Earth are expressed through totally new spatial exhibits dubbed "installations," which combine sculpted objects, spaces, lighting, video, and music. This stimulates sensitivity and enriches the minds of children and adults alike.

[ Seven zones with different themes featuring completely different worlds ]

Living creatures have acquired various colors, forms, and special capabilities as adaptations to their living environments. Their individual characteristics and fascinating charms are classified into seven themes based on NIFREL's unique perspective: Colors, Abilities, Shapes, Wonder Moments, Waterside, Behavior, and Biodiversity.

Japan's tallest Ferris wheel, with a height of 123 meters. As the largest Ferris wheel in Japan and one of the tallest in the world, Redhorse Osaka Wheel is the landmark for all of EXPOCITY. You can see great views of the Osaka cityscape at both day and night. All gondolas are fully equipped with air-conditioning and heating systems and designed for spacious comfort with wide seating and other features.

Join the fun at ANIPO, the animal expo—a traveling amusement park run by a host of animal characters!

[ Four attractions ]

ANIPO offers four attractions in all. The park is packed with excitement: take a ride on flying bicycles and soar through the air, or enjoy playing with water using water guns. There is also an inflatable play dome and mini train that will delight young children.
