The method of calculating points will change due to the consumption tax rate being raised from 8% to 10% on October 1, 2019.

■Point calculation method

[Before change]
1 point for every 100 yen (excluding tax) (1 point for every 108 yen)

[After change]
1 point for every 100 yen (excluding tax) (1 point for every 110 yen)
* Points are awarded based on a flat 10% discount on the total purchase amount to calculate the tax-excluded amount, so the number of points awarded may differ for purchases that include items subject to reduced tax rates.

■ Changes to membership terms and conditions

Article 4 Points Section 2 Points Calculation Method
[Before change]
(1) As a general rule, you will earn 1 point for every 100 yen (excluding tax) of your purchase amount.

[After change]
(1) In principle, 1 point will be registered for every 100 yen obtained by dividing the purchase amount (including tax) by the standard consumption tax rate at the time of the purchase plus 1.
(Note that even if the purchased goods or services are subject to reduced tax rates, points will be registered based on the above.)
