The hems of dresses and skirts, which are prone to stress from swaying with every movement, can get rubbed, snagged, and subjected to a buildup of small stresses that can cause the stitching to break or loosen...

Wearing clothes with frayed hems can ruin the hemline, making the design look less appealing. It also increases the risk of snagging on bags or chairs, further expanding the fray and causing damage! (Note: Pulling on loose threads can cause them to unravel completely, so be careful.)

If you notice any fraying at the hem, don't leave it as is; get it repaired as soon as possible!

Recently, there has been an increase in skirts and dresses made from stretch materials, and many items, like the one pictured, are sewn with special stitching. We can repair them to their original condition using a specialized sewing machine, so please feel free to use our service.
