This model features a red dial inspired by the "blood moon," the red-tinged moon visible during a total lunar eclipse.

During a total lunar eclipse, the Earth blocks sunlight from reaching the moon's surface, creating a reddish blood moon. This phenomenon is captured on the dial, even reproducing the uneven texture of the lunar surface.

The movement features Bulova's proprietary high-precision quartz movement.

High-precision quartz features high accuracy thanks to its 262kHz high frequency, eight times that of regular quartz, and a smooth, sweeping hand movement similar to that of a mechanical watch.
