Returnable boxes introduced for product delivery to directly managed stores

DHC operates 95 directly managed stores*1 nationwide. Previously, cardboard boxes were used for delivering products to these stores, but from August 2024, they have switched to returnable boxes (Ecobiz boxes).
The returnable boxes can be reused 200 times, eliminating the hassle of disposal and reducing CO2 emissions by 33.68 tons per year.
Furthermore, by reusing the 2,000 units introduced this time, it is expected that emissions will be reduced by 160 tons*3 over approximately five years*2.
