DONQ stores are holding a national bread competition to determine nihonichi 's best bread, with the support of our customers!
The 14th DONQ Recommended Bread Grand Prix
Event period: September 4, 2026 (Fri) - September 23, 2026 (Wed)
Each DONQ store's baker develops their own original bread and sells it in-store as their store's "recommended bread"!
From all the "favorite breads," this year's grand prize winner will be decided by customer votes.
Recommended bread at DONQ LaLaport YOKOHAMA store
"Yokohama Chinese Bread"
Takeout: 324 yen (tax included)
Eat-in: 330 yen (tax included)
I created this based on the image of Yokohama's Chinatown.
We added spicy pickled mustard greens as an accent, baked it, and finished it off by brushing it with sesame oil.
We also offer other breads recommended by DONQ 's bakers.
