Near Grand SEIKO Studio Shizukuishi, the manufacturing base for Grand SEIKO 's mechanical watches, lies one of Japan's leading areas of birch trees.
Bathed in the crisp, clear air of the highlands, the slender, tall birch trees stand in layers, creating a mystical landscape that evokes a sense of nature's beauty and power.
In this model, the magnificent birch forest is depicted on a dial featuring dynamic stamped patterns and delicate coloring.
This model is equipped with the mechanical high-beat movement "Caliber 9SA5".
By employing a dual-impulse escapement (a highly efficient escapement) and twin barrels (two mainsprings), this watch achieves a high beat rate of 36,000 vibrations per hour while maintaining a power reserve of approximately 80 hours when fully wound, and its unique horizontal gear train structure enables a slim design.

The movement features a "Shizukuishi River finish," characterized by delicate stripe patterns inspired by the ever-changing flow of the Shizukuishi River throughout the seasons.
The SLGH005 is equipped with a mechanical high-beat movement, Caliber 9SA5.
