Adidas Originals launches ahead of FIFA World Cup 2026
Featuring Kento Nagao, they are launching a samba-focused, brokencore style campaign.
In anticipation of the FIFA World Cup 2026, and to celebrate football culture, a campaign has been launched from April 2, 2026, that fuses fashion culture and football in a brokecore style, combining the iconic "SAMBA" dance with the "Japan National Football Team 2026 Away Uniform." Kento Nagao of Naniwa Danshi, known for his love of football, will appear in this campaign.
The story of adidas and soccer has been deeply intertwined from its beginnings to the present day, supporting legendary plays on the pitch and becoming an icon on the streets. Beginning with the unveiling of the FIFA World Cup 2026 away kits featuring the iconic Trefoil logo at a launch event in Los Angeles on March 19th, adidas Originals is launching a campaign that embodies brokecore style with "SAMBA" from a fashion culture perspective.
