LaLaport IWATA will be holding its eSports Tournament & Digital Learning Experience Event again this year!

On Saturday, October 3, 2026, an e-sports tournament and demo event will be held at LaLaport IWATA.
We're hosting a digital learning experience event! We look forward to seeing you and your whole family there.

[Gran Turismo 7 eMotorsports Tournament]
Try your hand at e-motorsports, which anyone can join for free. Use a full-fledged driving simulator.
Join the race and aim for victory!

◇ Tournament
- Elementary and Junior High School Division (Open to all elementary and junior high school students.)
• Experienced Candidates Category (DR holders only; no age restrictions.)
- Playable demo event
・Suitable for everyone from children to adults. Even first-timers can enjoy it.
*If your child cannot reach the accelerator pedal, please have a parent or guardian accompany them during the test ride.

Participation fee: Free
How to participate: Tournament participation requires advance registration (please register via the application form on the dedicated website).
No reservation is required for the demo session. Registration will be on a first-come, first-served basis at the venue on the day of the event.
(Each participant will take turns after approximately 10 minutes.)

You can freely experience four different esports titles.
You can freely try out four types of esports titles, including fighting and puzzle games.
You can try out various genres.
Even if you're just thinking, "I'd like to give it a try," please feel free to drop by!

Event hours: 11:00-17:00
Experience time: 10 minutes each, on a rotating basis

[Free Digital & Technology Learning Trial Session]
Minecraft Education and LEGO Robot Programming
We will be holding a digital and technology learning experience designed to spark new learning opportunities.
With instructor support available, even beginners can participate with confidence.

◇Minecraft Education Programming Experience
Learn the basics of programming in a fun way using the hugely popular Minecraft.
This will be a lecture-style class led by an instructor. Let's try programming through hands-on practice.

Event times: 11:00, 12:00, 13:00, 14:00, 15:00, 16:00 (6 sessions in total)
Experience time: 50 minutes
Target audience: Elementary school students
Participation fee: Free
How to participate: Advance reservation required
Please apply through the application form on the dedicated website.
Applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis, and will close once the capacity is reached.

◇LEGO Programming System
Try your hand at programming with a LEGO robot that you assembled yourself.
You can learn programming through trial and error until you can make the robot move exactly as you intended.

Event hours: 11:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Experience time: 20 minutes, rotation system
Target audience: Elementary school students
Participation fee: Free
How to participate: No advance registration is required. Registration will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis at the venue on the day of the event.
