This new tortoiseshell teapot set was created by combining traditional craftsmanship from Morioka, the home of this teapot, with a design that suits modern tastes.

This teapot possesses both traditional elegance and a timeless presence that remains timeless even today. It's a teapot that will envelop your tea time in an even more tranquil atmosphere.

This set includes one teapot, one trivet, and one tea strainer. The inside and outside are coated with silicone baked paint.
The iron surface is coated with a special baked-on paint that allows oxygen to pass through, so the boiled water contains iron. The fact that it can be used over an open flame is another great feature.

This product does not have an enamel coating on the inside, so rust will inevitably occur. Because rust will occur, iron will leach out during use.
After about three months of use, reddish, rust-like spots will gradually appear inside, followed by limescale buildup.

This enhances the unique sweetness of the water and makes the tea taste better, so please do not remove the red spots or scale.
A Nambu iron kettle can last a lifetime if used properly. Rust does not mean it is broken, so please enjoy the changes that occur inside as it ages.
