"Stormy Night" is a picture book that has sold over 3.8 million copies and is known for its touching story of friendship between a wolf and a goat who meet on a stormy night.
A reading will be held to commemorate the February Star Kabuki production "On a Stormy Night" (starring Nakamura Shido and Nakamura Taro), which will be based on the original work and will be performed at Hakataza in February 2026.
As a reading actor, you will practice your lines and movements, and then use your voice to portray the moving story on stage against a backdrop of actual picture book images.
The performance will be held in an open theater, so please enjoy the viewing.
