Unagi no Nedoko is holding its 13th Monpe Expo at Rapport Fukuoka!

Unagi no Nedoko "13th Monpe Expo in Rapport Fukuoka" will be held for the first time at Media Park!

The Monpe Expo, which began with the desire to spread the sight of Kurume Kasuri textiles throughout Fukuoka, is now in its 13th year. This will be the first time it is held at LaLaport FUKUOKA!
During the event, a wide variety of MONPE pants will be on display at the Media Park venue on the 1st floor of LaLaport FUKUOKA, including not only Kurume Kasuri MONPE pants in a rich array of colors and patterns, but also collaborative MONPE pants from various domestic production areas.
Additionally, on June 6th (Sat) and 7th (Sun), we will be holding Shops that you can easily enjoy with your family and friends.

≪Keychain and brooch makingShops Overview≫ 
① Create a one-of-a-kind keychain & brooch using traditional materials: Kurume Kasuri fabric and domestic cypress wood.
Dates: June 6th (Sat) and 7th (Sun), 2026
Time: 11:00-15:00
Location: LaLaport FUKUOKA 1F Media Park
Participation fee: 1,000 yen (tax included)
Capacity: 50 people each day (first-come, first-served)

② Kurume Kasuri MONPE Making Shops
Period: June 6, 2026 (Saturday)
Time: 10:00-16:00
Location: Seminar Room FUKUOKA TOY MUSEUM 1st Floor, LaLaport FUKUOKA Oval Building
Participation fee: 6,600 yen (tax included) + fabric cost (8,000 yen and up for adults) *
Capacity: 5 people (reservations required)
*Fabric costs vary depending on the pattern. Bringing your own fabric is not permitted.
