Katsushika Hokusai is one of the three great ukiyo-e artists.

Katsushika Hokusai, about whom many legends are told, celebrates his 260th birthday this year.
There has been a lot of excitement surrounding Hokusai, with an exhibition being held and a film focusing on his daughter Oei being released.
The popular watch brand G-SHOCK has even released a Hokusai model!

The base model is the iconic standard digital DW-5600.
In reference to ukiyo-e, which originated in Japan, we also paid particular attention to the place of production, "Made in Japan."
The dial beautifully depicts two of Hokusai's masterpieces, "Under the Mannenbashi Bridge at Fukagawa" and "White Rain Under the Mountains," from Thirty-six Views of Mount Fuji. The packaging has also been specially designed to appeal to a global audience.
