Tokyo Biso Group is a group of companies that provides consistent Services throughout the life of a facility, including planning, design, construction, and operation management of buildings and facilities. They help with all aspects of facility management at MITSUI OUTLET PARK SAPPORO KITAHIROSHIMA, including building maintenance, facility management, and energy management, to provide comfort to all who use the facility.

Creating a comfortable and sustainable environment

In order to maintain and provide safe water and hygienic toilets within the building, we are focusing on quality control as well as energy conservation activities. We are also working to reduce CO2 emissions by reducing water usage and switching to LED lighting. In addition, our employees pick up trash in the local area, and we are actively working to create an environment not only for the building but also for the city.

Utilizing global talent

We also had a detailed talk about one of the SDGs actions that SAPPORO KITAHIROSHIMA is particularly focusing on, which is the active participation of global human resources. Since January last year, we have accepted three foreign technical intern trainees from Vietnam, and in addition to providing them with skills and technical training, we are also providing them with Japanese language education.

During the interview, I learned that although human resource development takes time and effort, all employees communicated a lot and had the awareness and motivation to achieve the SDGs. And above all, it was IN to see all the Vietnamese technical intern trainees saying with a smile, "My work is fun!"

The company is proactively promoting the advancement of global talent as well as the advancement of women. Through these activities, the company will continue to promote "contributions to realizing a sustainable society."
