Two years have passed since the 2024 Noto Peninsula Earthquake, which occurred on January 1, 2024 (New Year's Day).
MITSUI OUTLET PARK HOKURIKU OYABE will be holding a disaster prevention Shops on January 1st (New Year's Day).
■Date and time: January 1st (New Year's Day) 10:00-16:00 *The Shops time will vary depending on the content.
■ Location: 2F atrium near the food court
[Making newspaper slippers]
・Time: 10:00-16:00
・Participation fee: Free
・Contents: Disaster prevention techniques that are extremely useful when you are in an evacuation shelter or indoors and don't have shoes. Anyone can easily make it with the same ease as origami.
[Making a disaster prevention bottle]
・Time: 10:00/10:30/11:00/11:30/12:00/12:30
・Participation fee: 500 yen per person (tax included) *Cash payment only
・Contents: Make your own original disaster prevention bottle that can be used immediately in the event of a disaster.
・Lecturer: Yumi Suzuki (Disaster prevention specialist from Toyama Prefecture/former NHK newscaster)

Children can have fun learning about disaster prevention through coloring books themed around disaster prevention items.
