Christmas fair held!

In Europe, Christmas is a special event in the seasonal calendar, and
Each traditional Christmas item has its own origin and story, and is enjoyed with special feelings.
This is what happened.
At DONQ we are introducing European culture from before Christmas to the actual Christmas season.
We will introduce traditional products enjoyed within that culture, along with the stories behind the products themselves.

Stollen

The mellow flavor of LIFE steeped in rum and brandy, cinnamon,
The gorgeous aroma of spices such as vanilla and the richness of the butter used in abundance,
The more the flavor blends with the ingredients over time, the more mellow and rich the flavor becomes.
The texture of the marzipan inside and the fragrant aroma of the nuts add a nice accent.
In Germany, during the Christian Advent period (about four weeks before Christmas),
I have a habit of eating a little bit of stollen every day.
I SLY DONQ stollen into 1cm pieces and looked forward to Christmas.

Christmas Panettone
Price: 2,700 yen (tax included)
The dough is made with a generous amount of egg yolk and butter, and is topped with carefully selected sultana raisins, orange peel, and citron peel.
We added plenty of LIFE such as these and baked them until they were fluffy.
The original dough is regularly provided by Sanremo, an Italian confectionery shop with which we have been partnering for about 40 years.
It is made using Lievito Madre and aged and fermented, resulting in a soft, fluffy and rich flavor.
A traditional Italian fermented pastry.
During the Christmas season, Italians exchange their favorite gifts with their close friends and family.
It is customary to give panettone to each other.
