Mizusawa Down is a product of craftsmanship, with each jacket handcrafted by artisans at the Mizusawa Factory in Japan, a rare integrated downwear production system, undergoing 280 steps—more than twice the number required for a typical down jacket. Mizusawa Down addresses the issue of down jackets losing their warmth when water seeps in through the seams and the feathers get wet, by focusing on waterproofing and water resistance, while also improving warmth. While its specifications allow it to withstand harsh environments, its design is also suited to urban environments.
