The parakeet in the video is a #sunset parakeet named "Shiny"
This parakeet is characterized by its bright yellow and orange coloring, and its sun-like coloring has earned it the English name sunconure (scientifically known as sunparakeet).

In fact, bathing is an important habit for parakeets!
It is said to have various effects, not only removing dirt from feathers but also preventing them from drying out and keeping them fluffy.

Even in the wild, they use rain and puddles to get their entire bodies wet, then dry in the sun while preening!
This natural rhythm is faithfully reproduced here as well.
