We would like to introduce to you the event that was held at LaLaport IWATA on Sunday, January 27th, 2019.

先生とお友達とご挨拶

We exchanged greetings with the teachers and listened to an explanation of today's event.
  • Toyosu

First, I greeted my teachers and friends. It was my first time meeting everyone, so I was a bit nervous.

  • Iwata

Once your teacher has given you today's promises and instructions, it's time to get started!

 『今のわたし』と『私の自己紹介』に記入

I wrote a lot about myself on a piece of paper to introduce myself.
  • Toyosu

I'm going to write down who I am and what I'm like on a piece of paper. It's going to take a lot of thought.

  • Iwata

What can I say to get people interested?

質問ゲーム

We listened to the self-introductions of our friends and then asked them questions in a game format.
  • Toyosu

As you listen to your friend's self-introduction, take notes on anything that catches your attention.

  • Iwata

Feel free to ask questions about things that interest you or that you like! It'll be fun to learn more about your friends!

将来のことを考えてみよう

I wrote down what I wanted to be in the future and what job I wanted to have.
  • Toyosu

Do you want to be a police officer? Or a doctor? There are so many things I want to be, it's hard to decide!

  • Iwata

What should I do from now on? I'll write it down while consulting with my teacher.

将来について発表

Let's talk about who you want to be in the future! Have you found who you want to be?
  • Toyosu

I've decided what I want to be and what I want to do when I grow up!

  • Iwata

Let's work hard towards our dreams! I also wrote a message to my future self!

Toyosu

Thank you for opening up my child's drawers. It took a little time for him to get used to it, so this was perfect. I'd like to participate again.

Child age 7 years

It's rare to have an opportunity like this to think and present, so it was fun for both parents and children.

Child age 10 years

Iwata

I learned how to help children grow without rejecting anything. It was a good opportunity for me to learn about things that I am embarrassed or unable to talk about with my family.

Yurino / Children's ages 10 and 8

I was glad that the children started to make presentations and ask questions proactively in the second half of the class. I think it was a good experience for them to take a class with new friends.

Shun-san / Children's ages 9 and 6
