Library ImageConnecting with people through books: the local libraryThe Town Library is a town library where people can meet through books. It is a rich place where people and books come together, with unique bookshelves created together with the local community, book lending, reading groups, study groups and other events that provide an opportunity for people and books to meet.
What is a town library?These are libraries where people can meet and interact through books, by placing books with message cards on bookshelves in cafes, Shops, hospitals, temples, offices, private homes, and other places in the city. There are currently about 370 such libraries across the country, each with its own unique bookshelves, where various events such as book lending, reading groups, and study sessions are held.
